Feedback and Dialogue

Were you an eyewitness to some of the events, trends,  personalities, or technologies that were influenced by the 1968 Engelbart demo and subsequent developments?  If so, you are  cordially invited to comment through this web space on the  facts, trends, and influences under discussion.  Input in  this forum will become part of a permanent record on the  meaning and importance of this history. This is, in a very  real sense, your opportunity "to set the record straight"  or at least to pose a dissenting opinion. Salient comments  and counter-comments will appear on this web space.  The  closer you were to the action, the more important it is for  your input to be recorded.

We ask that you identify your full name, your affiliation  with the events you wish to discuss (as in where you were working at the time or through what other means you were  involved), a means of communicating with you, and whether  you object to having your comments posted with attribution.  Anonymous comments will not be considered or posted.

This site will remain active long after the anniversary  event on 9 December 1998.  If, after attending the event  (or otherwise hearing or seeing parts of it), you feel  there is more to the story, please send your version of  events or thoughts here.
